Submit Your COVID-19 Preparedness Plan

The State of Minnesota requires businesses to create a COVID-19 Preparedness Plan before reopening. The Preparedness Plan must be posted, follow a template, and cover items unique to the business. As a courtesy, the Crow Wing County Health Department has volunteered to review COVID-19 Preparedness Plans to ensure that the business plans meet state guidelines. The review by Crow Wing County Health is voluntary, but is recommended by Lake Country Cares.

Step 1: Create your business COVID-19 Preparedness Plan.

Review the state guidelines, plan template, and checklist. Also check with your industry association for best practices.

Step 2: Send us your business COVID-19 Preparedness Plan.

When you submit your plan, please let us know if you’d like Crow Wing County Health Department staff to review it.

Step 3: Help promote the Lake Country Cares movement.

After you’ve submitted your plan, we’ll send you a Lake Country Cares “Cares Package” that includes:

(2) Double-sided business window decals

(5) Buttons

(5) Face masks (one of each color)

Help send a message that our businesses are safe, caring, and ready to reopen by displaying these items in your business and by sharing this website and using #LakeCountryCares on social media.

Lakes Country Cares “Cares Packages” are made possible thanks to the generosity of the following partners.
